Thoughts from Robert Edmond Jones

The theatre is a school. We shall never have done with studying and learning. In the theatre, as in life, we try first to free ourselves, as far as we can, from our own limitations.  Then we begin to practice this noble and magical art. Then we begin to dream..

What we have to protect this Thanksgiving

History Lesson #2

Fascism: 1. the doctrines, methods, or movement of the Fascisti. 2. a system of government characterized by rigid one-party dictatorship, forcible suppression of opposition, private economic enterprise under centralized government control, belligerent nationalism, racism and militarism. 3a) a political movement based on such policies. b) fascist behavior.  See Nazi.

Dictators make all kinds of charming deals… we must be vigilant and empathetic when it is revealed that “the deals” do not reflect or benefit the people of our communities.
