Legacy is based on the true story of a young American who rescues a Jewish photo journalist and her children out of Germany. This suspenseful escape is pierced by stories of today’s refugees.
Legacy reminds us that one person can always make a difference.

Premiere: Bristol Old Vic, Bristol, UK, 1995. German and French tour followed sponsored by the European Commission, 1997.
In 1998, Legacy transferred to sold-out houses and rave reviews to London’s Cockpit Theatre. In 2003, Legacy opened at the T. Schreiber Studio in New York City (T. Schreiber title only, The Gift). In 2011, Legacy was produced at the JCC Berman Center for the Arts, West Bloomfield, Michigan.
