SUMMER YOUTH WORKSHOP REGISTRATION OPEN — July 15th – 21st 2024
Bethany Hall at Old Dutch Church in Uptown Kingston
A creative, supportive, environment where young people have loads of fun exploring acting, improvisation, voice, dance and performance. They develop confidence, focus and collaborative skills while discovering theater in a safe space. The seven-day workshop ends with a free Performance for Friends and Family, July 21st. Classes are led by experienced theater professionals who have taught at: NYU School of the Arts, Stella Adler and major New York City theater academies. Air conditioned, sibling discount.

You will learn rehearsal and performance skills that will increase your skills as an actor. You will become more alive and reactive with scene partners and experience deeper trust in yourself and increase the joy of character transformation. Fear will decrease as creativity increases. We focus on improvisation, script analysis, voice, actor physicality from several techniques and the tools of an actor’s craft.
