Teacher: Shauna Kanter, artistic director of Voice Theatre has taught acting at: The Stella Adler Studio, NYU School of the Arts, the T. Schreiber Studio and the New Actor’s Workshop. In the UK at: Mountview Theatre Conservatory, Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and Middlesex University among others. She has directed over forty-five main stage productions in eleven countries from Ramallah, Palestine to Aberdeen, Scotland to San Antonio, Texas. Most recently she directed SUMMER AND SMOKE and REFUGEE STORIES for Voice Theatre.

You will learn rehearsal and performance tools that will increase your skills as an actor, as you learn to trust yourself as an artist. You will learn how to be  present, reactive and more alive with scene partners. We focus on improvisation, theatre games, script analysis, voice, actor physicality from a myriad of techniques as well as monologues and scene study.

Learn powerful rehearsal and performance tools that will increase your skills as an actor.

Deepen your actor’s preparation as you learn to trust yourself as an artist. Be more present with scene partners. You will work with theatre games, script analysis, monologues and scene study. Acting Classes in Kingston this Fall 

Space is limited. 

More than scene study our work focuses on a variety of techniques to deepen acting choices enabling actors to uniquely express their individuality while transforming into a character. The class is much, much more than a scene study class. Registration is monthly.
